About
Let your old age be childlike and your childhood like old age; that is, so that neither may your wisdom be with pride, nor your humility without wisdom.

There's an incredible amount to be learned from kids to help us become better professionals and it's worth celebrating. Product Snacktime is dedicated to providing "bite size" content for product managers based on lessons learned from young children.
About Kate
Kate is a multi-potentialite (aka "jack of all trades") who found her way into product management several years ago. After pursuing undergraduate and graduate work in health behavior, Kate has spent the majority of her 15+ year career in public health and healthcare. Prior to becoming a product manager, Kate was a program manager, academic librarian, children's minister, writer, instructional designer, researcher, program developer, content strategist, and content quality manager (not all at the same time). She's worked in the U.S. and abroad for academic, clinical, non-profit, and corporate organizations.
She's been a mom about as long as she's been a product manager and has had the joy of raising her child alongside her career. Being a mom has become one of her superpowers because it's helped her hone her skills in translating complex information into easy-to-understand messages.
When not doing product-y things, she volunteers at school, hangs out with her family and friends, performs in local theater, and fly fishes. Like Johnny Cash, she's been everywhere but currently calls Boise, Idaho "home."
